Facebook Introduces Upload File Button-Share Files Within Groups upto 25MB

Today I noticed that Facebook has introduced new Upload File Button to all the groups on Facebook.Now you can hit this upload file button and start uploading files and share the file with the group members directly.

Facebook has taken an advanced step to give a tough competition to google which recently introduced google drive and the next upcoming social network Google+.Check out the below screen shot how the button looks like.

One more change took place to the facebook layout with the introduction of this Upload file button,the docs button disappeared and all the docs which are there previously will be under files category.You can find the docs option in files category.

Moreover to create a text doc go to the files category and hit the button on the right there you can create a doc or upload files on facebook.

Features of this Upload File Button:

1.You can share files upto 25 MB.

2.Any member of the group can download this file.

3.Facebook supports files with many extensions like rar , jpg , pptx , doc and many other except executable files.

4.Users can report the file if the file is spammy or illegal.

Recently facebook has made many changes and introduced many features,it is also going to introduce listen button to the pages which are related to music.So its trying to give a tough competition to google plus which is treated as the next top social network.

Step 3: If facebook.com is already filled in, Click on Add else fill in facebook.com and Click on Add followed by Close.

How To Enable New Facebook Timeline

Facebook timeline is a new feature announced by Facebook just 2 days ago.If you are bored with old Facebook Layout then you should try this .You are just 7 steps away to enable Facebook Timeline.

STEPS TO ENABLE FACEBOOK TIMELINE

1.Log in to your Facebook Account if you are not logged in.

Go to facebook developers link or type developer in the search box as shown below and go to that page.

2.You will be redirected to page as shown below then click create new app at the top right corner.

3.A pop-up dialog box would appear requiring you to name the ‘App’ and’ App Namespace’. I used ‘Time Line’ for display Name and ‘imran_uddin’ for App NameSpace. (Your App NameSpace should be unique to be valid). Click ‘I agree’ button and click continue.

4.You will be directed towards basic settings page then click on open graph which is at the top left column

5.Now you will be directed to the Getting Started page ,here you have to enter a function and click getting started button.Here I used a "trip on timeline"  function

6.In the next page enter some action type then object type then hit save changes and next

7.That's it its done click the save button at the bottom of the page wait for 2 minutes and go to your home page.There you will see Get it now message click that and your facebook timeline will be ready.
