SOPA is DEAD: Smith pulls bill

A lot of sites saying STOP SOPA Now like Wikipedia, Reddit and many more. As we remember, the SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) bill was introduced on the United States House of Representatives last October 26, 2011. Starting that, many sites are keep protesting the SOPA including social sites, blog are protesting the SOPA bill.

And good news to all, SOPA is DEAD because House Judiciary Committee chairman Lamar Smith pulled or withdrawn the SOPA Bill. 

As prove, it starting trending on Twitter on Friday with the hashtag of "SOPA IS DEAD" when Lamar Smith withdraw SOPA bill, most controversial anti-piracy legistation. Smith the chief supporter of SOPA bill said on Friday that he's pulling the bill"until there is wider agreement on a solution."

SOPA is Dead

The sites protested SOPA is now officially back. Thanks for supporting the Anti-SOPA campaign. SOPA is  DEAD. Yepeeey..Clap! Clap...

  • Internet service providers will be required to block your access to the site (section 102(c)(2)(A)(i)) within five days.
  • Ad providers (Google AdSense, Federated Media, etc.) will be required to stop providing ad service to the site.
  • Payment providers (PayPal, Visa, etc.) will be required to terminate service to the site.
