The fastest Web Browser - Google Chrome 12

According to the review I've read among the Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, Google Chrome is the fastest browser among all web browsers.

Like Mozilla Firefox browser, Google Chrome released a lot of versions. But if you we talking about development, Mozilla Firefox Browser is the definitely fit for Web developer because a lot of plug-in or extensions available.

But since we are talking about the fastest browser among all browsers, I would also agree that Google Chrome is the fastest browser. At least this is what the results of a recent test, that measured the loading speed of websites, are showing.

Google Chrome 10, 11 and 12, Mozilla Firefox 3, 4 and 5, Safari 4 and 5 and Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9. And the surprising result is Google Chrome 12.

Faster Browser - Google Chrome

As shown above, Google Chrome load time was the lowest (blue) with 3.433 seconds. And the Apple's Safari 4 ranked as the slowest browser according to load time with 6.149 seconds. As you observed to the chart, almost twice of the amount time of Google Chrome 12.

The second measurement(green color) referred to the amount of time it takes for the visible parts of a website that to load in the browser. And the result, Google Chrome 12 ranked as the second with 2.374 seconds but Mozilla Firefox 5 ranked as Top 1 with 2.18 seconds. So, Mozilla Firefox 5 performed better than Google Chrome 12 when you refers to the amount of time it takes for the visible portion of the page to load in the browser. And the end result, Internet Explorer and Safari is the slowest browsers again.

What makes the measurements reliable is the fact that the tests haven’t been carried out in a lab, but in a real world, measuring how the population actually experiences web browsing.

In my own, Google Chrome is the fastest browser and the second is the Mozilla Firefox 5. But it depends on the user itself.
