Google Page Rank

Google decided to remove the Page Rank from his algorithm. 
Will it be the final of the SEO techniques as we knew them? 
Can somebody spot the new game rules?
After the google Panda implementation, the SEO professional are facing a new challenge. They should try to detect the best new practices to rise places in the google rank.
