Firefox 4 Beta 1 includes dozens of major features and improvements. It focused on improving responsiveness at start-up and during page loads.

Firefox 4 Beta 1 is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. For Windows users the tabs have gone on the top like Google Chrome. In Windows Vista
and Windows 7 the menu bar has been replaced with the new orange Firefox button on the top left.

The Add-Ons Manager will give users more space to manage their add-ons, themes and plugins. Firefox 4 will have enhanced support for emerging web standards like CSS 3, Canvas and Web Sockets.

The new WebM format of Firefox 4 will help the users to watch hardware accelerated, super smooth, HD quality HTML5 video on YouTube. The browser helps to resume browsing by simply refreshing the page after a plugin crash or freez.
